Ripple - visual vibrations into brewed tea
Experiences & Exhibitions

This installation is about the interacts between sound and water,

Not only the sound you hear but also the sound you drink.

The installation uses contact microphones that absorb the sounds, these are then transformed into bass tones. The vibrations of these bass tones are then projected in the water.

The water is used to make tea. We drink this tea in a ceremony together while experiencing the element of sound, again, not only the sound you hear but also the sound you drink.

This installation was exhibited at Dutch design week 2022.

This work was part of the exhibition,
